Accessibility statement

On this page you will find information about the accessibility of our website and the accessibility statement for it.

What is accessibility?

In the digital world, accessibility means barrier-free environments. An accessible digital service doesn’t require using a mouse, but it can be used with a keyboard and screen reader software. It has a clear and straightforward user interface and easily understandable contents.

Accessibility in the development of our digital services

Our goal is to provide accessible services to all our customers. Accessibility is an important basis for development work and new services.

Assessment of accessibility

Self-assessment has been performed with regard to the accessibility of our website. We invite you to get acquinted with the latest Accessibility statement.

The accessibility of the OP Corporate Bank Lithuanian branch’s website has been assessed by accessibility experts working for OP Pohjola on a project basis and by means of a web accessibility self-assessment.

The following systems have been used in the project-based assessments:

The assessment was mainly performed on a computer running Windows and on the Chrome browser. The screen reader test was performed with the NVDA screen reader program. Certain details were checked with other tools.

The following systems have been used in the self-assessments:

  • Accessibility on desktop computers has been tested using the Chrome web browser and NVDA screen reader software.

Accessibility status of digital service

OP Corporate Bank Lithuanian branch’s website meets the accessibility requirements in part. Non-compliance with requirements and the applicable exemptions are listed below. The content mainly consists of functions that can also be accessed by assistive technologies.

Inaccessible content

There are accessibility deficiencies in the OP Corporate Bank Lithuanian branch’s website from the criteria of the WCAG 2.2 level AA guidelines as follows:

WCAG 1.3.1, general accessibility (Programmatic structure)

The programmatic structure of the page doesn’t always match the visual presentation:

  • Headings are not always implemented with programmatic heading elements. Some are only implemented using text styling, others with programmatic lists of a single item, and yet others not even visually. This makes figuring out the structure of the content very hard for screen reader users.
  • Some numbered lists are not implemented with programmatic list elements. Because of this, screen reader users don’t know how many items the lists have and when they begin and end.
