Contributing to the anniversary leadership conference Tipping Point
Every autumn, we gather with Lithuania’s business leaders at the Tipping Point leadership conference in Palanga, where we have been long-standing partners and sponsors. This year marked a special occasion as we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the event. Over the two decades that the conference has been running, we have witnessed significant changes in business, society, and the world.
This year is no exception. We find ourselves at a crossroads where no one can predict the future path of humanity or what the next decade will bring. Here's a brief summary of what Lithuanian business leaders and decision-makers discussed this year:
- Strategic business leadership. We must be prepared to achieve business goals even amidst an uncertain geopolitical context. The changing climate and evolving regulations demand increased attention to green transformation.
- Artificial intelligence. The collaboration between humans and computers in all fields, from healthcare to banking, is inevitable. The question is how quickly we will change our perspective and whether we will emerge as winners in the AI revolution.
- Investment in education. As the economy grows and businesses expand, we implement innovations. To maintain our competitiveness, we must allocate more resources to education and improve its quality. The strength of our country lies in its talent.
- Added value of biotechnology. Medicine and scientific progress have always been pivotal in human history. Recently, we have reached a new level where the desire to live longer than ever before is prominent. We must strengthen this sector, which already generates significant added value for the country and its people.
- Sports and active living. If we want to live long and healthy lives, we must first embrace active movement.
We have collaborated and supported this conference for many years, and this year, we emphasised the importance of active physical activity – one of the most crucial aspects of a long, healthy, and sustainable life. During the Citius Altius Fortius sports day, we met the conference participants on the tennis courts for the OP Bank‘s doubles tournament. We also tested our skills on the golf course.
