“Matias has played a pivotal role in growing our Baltic business, and his contribution to developing Corporate Banking’s operations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania has been significant. We would like to thank Matias for his dedication and achievements and wish him every success in the future,” says Jarmo Tiihonen, Head of Major Corporate Clients and Baltics at Corporate Banking.

“The past 12 years have been tremendously rewarding. I have had the privilege of building and developing our Baltic business together with an exceptional team, for which I am deeply grateful. With a clear direction for the years ahead, I feel this is the right time to pass the baton to the next leader and embark on a new chapter myself,” says Matias Huhtala.

OP Corporate Bank’s operations in the Baltics will continue as normal. Day-to-day management of the branch network will remain under the responsibility of the respective Country Managers: Maila Kirspuu in Estonia, Elmārs Prikšāns in Latvia and Leda Iržikevičienė in Lithuania.
